Again, this plan is based on the concept that humanity's supreme value-creating process is that: Everyone already helps themselves by far the most, overall, by simply helping other people the most they can afford to, physically, mentally, and emotionally, non-stop, 24/7, given their situation. But the vast majority of people do not yet do that nearly fully consciously and effectively. This plan's purpose is to help fix that problem.
This section is about the history of my development of that concept.

"If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes."- Albert Einstein
Per Eintein’s advice, I spent decades studying and field-testing ideas about “Saving the World.” That can be viewed as a much bigger problem than Einstein’s, so it took a bit longer to determine the “proper question,” or in this case, “questions.”
I propose the first "proper question" is : What is the world’s biggest problem?
And the next "proper question" is: Is there a relatively simple way, overall, to significantly help solve it?
I can see that most human problems are caused by many of the 170+ cognitive biases (THE BIG OBSTACLES) that have fooled the world into, (understandably) impatiently, trying to solve problems ASAP, instead of taking enough time, at first and continually, to figure out why those problems exist. And those biases (THE BIG OBSTACLES) are similar to being fooled that the horizontal lines in the illusion, upper left, are different lengths, since their different contexts of arrows trick us into seeing that.
Then after years of studying the role of context in bias (THE BIG OBSTACLES), I see that context comprises 99.9% of meaning. For trillions of things, mostly the amazing and stunningly complex trillions of strands of physical DNA that power all that we are and all that we eat. - And also the other complex social and cultural aspects of life. Those are by far the main contributors to our context, and thus meanings, feelings, and thinking, every moment as humans.
So that makes the next "proper question": What is humanity’s most defining overall context?
If you have read other parts of this website, you already know that I propose it is that all value, peace, and prosperity appear to come from that one supreme human process described at the top of this page.

Just fyi: By ”help” I mean limiting bother and suffering, and / or increasing pleasure, overall. And this process is not specifically about kindness, generosity, etc. although those are vivid examples of it. This process is about economics, and budgeting what you can afford, physically, mentally, and emotionally, for your greatest return. This process is most visible in our jobs, working for money. But people help others mostly because that is the most enjoyable thing to do overall. Of course, many people hate their jobs. But their jobs still help them overall. Help is so central to human experience that things only have meaning for us humans to the extent we perceive they may potentially help us. We translate things that bother us into help in two priceless, vital, irreplaceable ways: 1) to learn to avoid such things, and 2) to give us the fullest possible appreciation for the relative absence of bother, and thus the fullest possible appreciation of life itself, overall, like nothing else can. And everyone helps everyone else on earth non-stop by far the most by simply not bothering them. *“Everyone” in these statements may ring false. For there are very unhelpful, selfish, destructive, and even sadistic, murderous people. But the vast majority of them appear to help others enough to stay out of jail, obeying traffic laws, getting others to help them, etc. And that is just the most help, for whatever mental, emotional, neurochemical, etc. reason, that they feel they can afford to give others. Then they are only hurtful due to those dysfunctions. That doesn’t mean the rest of us can afford to let them behave that way. We do what we can to limit our exposure to them, including by detaining them. And lastly, this process is infinitely more than “the golden rule,” although that rule is a vivid example of it.

So I propose the next "proper question" is: Don’t all problems exist mostly for the world’s simple lack of the value, peace, and prosperity – i.e. resources – needed to solve them? Which makes the next question: If everyone employed that “supreme value-creating human process” fully consciously, wouldn’t that create the most value, peace, and prosperity, to afford to solve the world’s problems infinitely faster and better than we do now? – If those problems only persist as bad as they do mainly for our lack of being able to afford the resources to solve them?
And so my last “proper question” is that - Given all the above, how might we most easily accomplish that task of massively increasing humanity's value-creation, i.e. maximizes it, far more than now occurs? Since that would boost global value-creation, and the global economy, in by far the biggest and easiest way possible (see above), and thus maximize their own personal prospects, I propose we start by getting this document to the most influential people in the world: media, organizational leaders, celebrities, educators, authors, etc., and inspire them to promote it to everyone else as well. And I propose the easiest way to do that is to inspire them to simply establish that process as their fully conscious overall context just by starting their visual communications with “Helpaboveall.org” as we do above, at least tiny and gray, unobtrusive, in the top left of all their screens and visual communication. And say it at the start of all verbal communication when that appears to be potentially helpful. And when it may help, just write and say “Helpaboveall.org” at random. That could inspire most of humanity to get on “this same page.”
The Plan, above, in the menu, is based on this observation: Everyone helps themselves by far the most, overall, by simply helping other people the most they feel they can afford to, physically, mentally, and emotionally. - At the very least by simply not bothering the vast majority of everyone in the world. And everyone does that in some way, non-stop, 24/7. But humanity has so far mostly wasted that world's-by-far-most value-creating-process by NOT promoting it above all else, mostly due to cognitive bias. This plan is designed to fix that problem in the fastest, easiest, free way possible. - Tim Mossman Copyright © 2024 Helpaboveall.org
